PlayStation 4 Revealed

Finally, the rumor about SonyPlaystation 4 has been broken out by unveiling its next console from a live event in New York on February 20th, 2013. Its console will be released this holiday season.



Sony's Andrew House said the new console will create "experience that surpass gamers' wildest expectations."

Mark Cerny, the lead system architect on the PlayStation 4, said "the development of a next-gen platform started about five years ago" and its goal is "freeing developers from technological barriers."

Cerny also added "its architecture is like a PC, but supercharged." PS$ has the X68 CPU and 8GB of memory and a local hard drive. It uses APU technology and GDD%5 memory, which is typically reserved for top line, high end graphics cards.

This console also has a secondary chip which is used for uploading and downloading in the background. The digital games can be played while downloading.
