7. Shut Down Feature
Make sure you shut it off in system setting
6. Expanding Storage
It has 8 GB built-in, and it might not enough for saving many data. However, you can expand the storage with micro SD card up to 32 GB and multiple TB external hard drives. The micro SD card only can be used for saving the Wii U content. You need to have other storage like external hard drive to save the Wii U saves if it bumps out the storage limit.5. Controller Compatibility
Gamepad features that allows us to play right on our hand without the TV screen will not be able to all games because Nintendo has not made the boot screen available for all the games. However, New Super Mario Bros. U, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor Edge, and Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition have been able to do so.
4. Gamepad Charging
The Nintendo Wii U cannot charge the Gamepad into the same outlet directly, so you need to relay into separate outlet.
3. Voice Chat Compatibility
Voice chat is up to third party game developers. If you wipe out a hardcore game with your hardcore game on your hardcore Wii U Pro Controller, you will directly realize that it does not have 3.5 mm jack on it. So, the only thing you can do is that you plug your headset to Wii U Gamepad and put it right next to you on the couch. It will work technically.
2. Wii Controller
Wii Remote, Nunchuk, and Wii Balance Board will no longer can be used for all games. You still can use them for some games but not all games. I believe there will be much better hardware controller produced in the future to support all games.
1. Wii U Updates
To get the new updates and also patch, you really need to have wifi supported in your area. Without the internet wifi you will not be able to get the patch and access many features like Nintendo e-Shop. Video Chat, and transfer Wii data to Wii U.
